Allyson is an attorney at CROKE FAIRCHILD DUARTE & BERES. Allyson advises individuals, families, business owners, and financial institutions on a range of estate planning, trust, and tax matters. Her experience includes administering estates, counseling clients on various tax matters, and representing clients in contested estate and trust litigation. Allyson is a member of the Chicago Estate Planning Council and the Section of Taxation, Real Property, Trust and Estate Law of the American Bar Association.
Prior to joining Croke Fairchild, Allyson was an associate at Hamilton Thies & Lorch LLP, a premier estate and tax planning law firm. Allyson’s other firm experience includes a litigation practice at Morgan Lewis in San Francisco and Wildman Harrold in Chicago.
Allyson also served as a law clerk to the Honorable John M. Gerrard of the Nebraska Supreme Court. Allyson is a graduate of the Duke University School of Law where she was a member of the Moot Court Board and the Duke Environmental Law & Policy Forum. Allyson graduated cum laude from Wellesley College where she was a two-year captain of both the varsity soccer and basketball teams. Allyson was also named the Wellesley College Class Athlete of the Year. Outside of work, Allyson is a member of the PTA for Central Elementary School in Wilmette and teaches Sunday school at Kenilworth Union Church.
