Mike joined Croke Fairchild as a partner in April 2021 to build its government litigation and investigations practice from the ground up. Drawing on time as a senior trial attorney with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, Mike helps clients navigate complex and high-stakes investigations, regulatory matters, enforcement actions and negotiations.

Mike is deeply embedded in Chicago’s decentralized finance and cryptocurrency markets, spearheading the firm’s membership with the Global Digital Asset & Cryptocurrency Association and helping shape regulatory policy in the emerging industry. Prior to joining Croke Fairchild, Mike was an advisor and senior counsel to Mayor Lori E. Lightfoot where he helped the mayor navigate some of the City of Chicago’s most significant challenges including the COVID-19 pandemic.
