March 14, 2022

Croke Fairchild Duarte & Beres is pleased to announce Rob Isham has joined the firm as a partner. Rob advises clients from various types of credit facilities on a wide range of debt financing transactions. He also practices in the developing cryptocurrency and digital asset space.

Rob brings a depth of experience from his time as debt finance counsel at WilmerHale, and as a global finance associate at Sidley Austin, where he represented major financial institutions and borrowers in investment grade credit facilities, cash flow and asset-based secured syndicated credit facilities, mid-market credit facilities, and emerging capital/venture capital (EC/VC) credit facilities. He also represented sponsors and non-bank lenders in private equity and sponsored finance credit facilities. Rob also has experience with bespoke debt offerings including cryptocurrency-backed high-yield bonds, commercial paper issuances, and joint venture investment programs.

“We are excited to welcome Rob to the CFDB team. His extensive knowledge of both finance and liquidity solutions, and the rapidly growing cryptocurrency space, are a valuable addition to our firm. Both of these areas are very high stakes for our clients, and the insights Rob brings to his practice will help guide them through that ever-changing landscape,” said Drew Beres, managing partner, Croke Fairchild Duarte & Beres. “Adding Rob to the team strengthens our firm’s reputation for serving as trusted strategic advisors and partners to businesses, entrepreneurs and investors alike.”

Rob is also involved in efforts toward commercial law reform as applied to cryptocurrency and digital assets, serving on multiple working groups for the Uniform Law Commission/American Law Institute Joint Task Force on the Uniform Commercial Code and Emerging Technologies Committee.

“I am very excited to be a part of the Croke Fairchild team. CFDB is creating a different kind of firm based on a strong commitment to innovation, growth and client success,” said Rob. “I’m looking forward to building my practice alongside these other highly experienced and talented attorneys.”

Rob received his J.D. from Notre Dame Law School, where he served as Solicitations Editor for the Journal of Law, Ethics and Public Policy. He graduated from Boston College with an M.A. in Philosophy, and from Colorado College with a B.A. in Philosophy.

Rob is based in Denver and serves clients nationwide.
