Croke Fairchild Duarte & Beres Adds Camila Di Mauri as an Associate

Croke Fairchild Duarte & Beres is pleased to announce that Camila Di Mauri has joined the firm as an associate. Camila focuses her practice on general corporate and transactional matters.
Camila brings a depth of litigation experience to the firm, having previously worked with the Illinois Attorney General’s Office’s Special Litigation Bureau where she helped launch the state’s first unconstitutional pattern and practice investigation of police misconduct. Camila also spent time as a federal litigation coordinator at the National Immigrant Justice Center (NIJC). There, she worked with detained mothers and children separated by the Department of Justice and Department of Homeland Security’s policies. At NIJC, Camila also assisted with a nationwide class action lawsuit challenging the practice of transferring children from shelters to ICE-contracted jails and prisons on their 18th birthdays.
In addition to her experience in litigation, Camila has successfully represented victims of crimes and gender-related violence in affirmative proceedings before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and Board of Immigration Appeals.
Camila is a member of the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Wisconsin. She is not yet admitted in Illinois and is working under the supervision of licensed Illinois attorneys. Camila received her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School, and a B.A. from the University of Colorado at Denver.
