Executives’ Club of Chicago Hosts DEIA Event

Croke Fairchild Duarte & Beres joined the Executives’ Club of Chicago for an event on May 31 titled, “Getting Results: DEIA Strategies that Work.” In attendance were Partners Tracey Wolfe, Joan Ferraro, and Deirdre Close, and Summer Associates Emily Woo and Jane Jeung.

Companies have seen the importance of investing in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA), but many are not seeing the results they expected. These strategies fail for reasons from leaders not being aligned on priorities to lack of funding or infrastructure to properly see the strategies through.

At the event, panelists discussed ways to ensure there is organizational alignment around DEIA initiatives as a priority. Panelists explored structures to support these initiatives, alignment between metrics and incentives, making sure leadership is on the same page, and other ways to achieve real, valuable results and create lasting change.
