Ari Krigel is an attorney in Croke Fairchild’s Real Estate Practice.

Ari focuses his practice on acquisitions, dispositions, conventional and public financing, leasing, workouts, and development in the commercial real estate space.

Ari’s experience includes drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, loan agreements, mortgages, commercial leases, forbearance and deed-in-lieu of foreclosure agreements, easements, and performing due diligence for real estate transactions. He has represented large institutional investors, national and regional lenders, and mid-market real estate investment and development companies.

Some recent matters include representing a seller in a portfolio sale of what was reportedly the largest multifamily deal in Chicago history, a sale price of over $600,000,000, more than 400 buildings and more than 7,500 units; representing an industrial developer in the ground-up development of a large mixed-use project including industrial, retail, and a medical office, and negotiating multiple outlot sales and construction loans and refinancing, including mortgage and mezzanine loans totaling $55,750,000; and many other matters.

Prior to joining Croke Fairchild, Ari was a partner at Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP (SGR) and with Freeborn & Peters prior to its combination with SGR. Ari was previously an associate at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP.
