Azra Naqvi is an Associate in Croke Fairchild Duarte & Beres’ Real Estate Practice Group. Her practice focuses on complex real estate transactions, including joint ventures, renewable energy, acquisitions, dispositions, and financings for institutional investors, owners, and developers. Azra’s matters involve properties including multi-family, mixed-use condominium, retail, energy, and industrial facilities. She works closely with her clients on piecing together the various aspects of a transaction while balancing the business and legal objectives of the client.

Azra counsels both landlords and tenants on structuring, preparing, and negotiating leases, and helps her clients navigate office ground leases, retail locations, shopping centers, and industrial property leases.

Her experience also includes representing institutional investors, community development entities, developers, lenders, and borrowers in connection with syndicated real estate transactions financed by the New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC). Azra has assisted clients in a wide array of NMTC projects, with a particular focus on community development across the country, including the acquisition, financing, and development of charter schools, youth development centers, community outreach and food distribution centers, medical facilities, and manufacturing and production facilities.

Prior to joining CFDB, Azra was an associate at Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP and Holland & Knight LLP.
