David Jorgensen has substantial experience in complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts throughout the nation. He represents clients of all sizes, ranging from individual shareholders to major financial institutions. David has handled a wide variety of matters, including business tort and contract litigation, civil RICO claims, class actions, false claims act/qui tam litigation, insurance disputes, international commercial arbitrations, real estate litigation, and securities litigation. He also has experience in white collar criminal defense and corporate and governmental investigations.
Prior to joining Croke Fairchild Duarte & Beres, David litigated complex commercial cases for over a decade at Sidley Austin LLP and Harrison Law LLC, including taking several cases to trial.
Throughout his career, David has maintained an active pro bono practice, representing both individuals and non-profit organizations in civil litigation. He is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Chicago Council of Lawyers, Chicago’s public interest bar association.
