Joan has more than 30 years of experience representing clients in commercial and residential real estate matters including acquisitions and sales, commercial leasing for office, retail and industrial buildings, new construction projects, construction documentation, mechanic’s liens, and loan documentation.
Joan’s practice also includes experience with deferred tax exchanges, structuring and forming partnerships, corporations and limited liability companies, sales of businesses including restaurants and bars and liquor license transfers.
Joan is a strong advocate for her clients and recognizes the importance of the speed of meeting client deadlines without compromising quality. Joan has chaired private, not-for-profit auctions, served on the steering committee for her local parish and been President of the community organization in her neighborhood.
