Katie Bender is an Executive Assistant to Drew Beres, providing administrative and operational support to firm leadership and helps coordinate a wide range of client, scheduling, and organizational initiatives.

Katie graduated from DePaul University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Sociology with a minor in Legal Communication. During her time at DePaul, she received the Political Science Exceptional Academic Achievement Award and multiple Sociology Departmental Awards in recognition of her academic achievements.

Prior to joining the firm, Katie worked as a Legal Assistant, served as a Law Clerk with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, and conducted legal research at DePaul University. She also gained valuable client-service and event coordination experience in the hospitality industry. Through these roles, Katie developed strong skills in legal research, administrative support, client relations, and project coordination in fast-paced professional environments.
