Kerry T. Rost is Of Counsel at CROKE FAIRCHILD DUARTE & BERES concentrates her practice in food and drug law, packaging law, and commercial litigation.

Her food and drug work has included regulatory counseling, new product development, negotiation with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and state agencies, handling recalls, and defending enforcement actions. She works with numerous companies on regulatory matters relating to FDA compliance of food contact materials and the requirements of other federal and state authorities.

In addition to her law degree, Dr. Rost is a graduate of the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, Chicago, Illinois, from which she received her B.S. Summa Cum Laude and D.P.M. Summa Cum Laude.

She is the recipient of several awards for her academic writing, including 1st Place from the American Health Lawyer’s Association Writing Competition, 2001, and 3rd Place in the Food and Drug Law Institute’s H. Thomas Austern Writing Awards Competition, 1999 – 2000.

She has presented at seminars and conferences on food contact materials and food regulation. Dr. Rost is a member of the bars of Illinois and the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois.
