Taryn advises clients on domestic and international business transactions and general corporate matters, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity investments, internal restructurings, and corporate governance. Her experience is broad and diverse, including representation of private and public clients, ranging from start-ups to private equity investors to multinational corporations, and involving a wide range of industries, including life sciences and healthcare, technology, consumer products and services, industrial manufacturing, insurance and financial services, media, telecoms and more. Taryn has advised on transactions ranging in size from a few million up to several billion dollars.
Taryn received her J.D. from The University of Chicago Law School. While in law school, she served as a student director for the Kirkland & Ellis Corporate Lab and served as the Symposium Editor for the Legal Forum law journal. Taryn graduated from The University of Chicago with a B.A. in humanities.
