Croke Fairchild Joins National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF)

CHICAGO, September 7, 2023 – Croke Fairchild Duarte & Beres LLC, a business law firm serving entrepreneurs, investors, growth-stage companies and Fortune 500 companies alike, is proud to announce that it has been chosen to join The National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF).

NAMWOLF is a nonprofit trade association comprised of AV-rated firms across the nation that represent major corporate clients. With a mission to expand diversity in the legal profession by developing long-term partnerships between corporations and minority and women owned law firms, NAMWOLF assists its member firms in developing strategic alliances, coalitions and affiliations with corporations, in-house counsel and other legal trade associations. NAMWOLF promotes the view that the most effective way for consumers of legal services to increase diversity in the legal profession is to increase their retention of minority and women owned law firms.

“As a majority women owned law firm, we are thrilled to join NAMWOLF,” said Management Committee Co-Chair Jessica Fairchild. “The foundation of CFDB is rooted in our partnerships — with our clients, our colleagues and the legal community. We look forward to our partnership with NAMWOLF, and the other law firm and corporate members of NAMWOLF, as we work collectively to create and expand opportunities for law firms with a profile similar to CFDB.”

With a total headcount of over 80 employees and 63 lawyers, and based on available data, CFDB is one of the top-five largest WBENC-Certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) law firms in the United States, with over 56% of the firm represented by women.

“There is a sincere and undeniable desire in the market for more women and minority owned firms on both sides — for lawyers who want to work for them and clients who want to work with them,” said Management Committee Co-Chair, Lisa Duarte. “NAMWOLF is the ideal conduit to make both of those goals achievable. We can’t wait to use this partnership to make a real impact on diversity in the Chicago legal market and beyond.”
