Croke Fairchild Duarte & Beres Adds James Kunick as Senior Counsel

Croke Fairchild Duarte & Beres is pleased to announce that James (Jim) Kunick has joined the firm as senior counsel in the Intellectual Property, Privacy & Technology Transactions practice group.
Jim has more than 25 years of experience representing both customers and providers over a broad array of complex commercial, aviation and airlines, intellectual property, telecommunications, and technology transactions. With a background in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Jim is also a registered patent attorney.
Prior to joining the firm, Jim served as Assistant General Counsel of Capgemini North America, a global technology service provider. In this role, Jim was responsible for leading the review and negotiations of complex transactions involving the company’s provision of applications maintenance and development (ADM) and business process outsourcing (BPO) services, software implementation and systems integration services, corporate acquisitions, and numerous ancillary agreements.
In addition, Jim also served as a software consultant prior to attending law school, advising clients on a wide range of issues including technology licensing transactions, IT and BPO transactions (third-party administration, revenue cycle management), SaaS, cloud services agreements, telecom, data analytics, open-source concerns, and intellectual property within commercial relationships like mergers, acquisitions, and various business agreements.
Jim received his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law, and a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin.
