Croke Fairchild Duarte & Beres Expands New York Office with Addition of Norly Jean-Charles

Croke Fairchild Duarte & Beres (“CFDB”) is pleased to announce that Norly Jean-Charles has joined the Firm as a Partner in the Corporate Group, joining the Firm’s growing New York team.

Norly advises public and private companies on mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, corporate governance, capital markets transactions, and SPAC and de-SPAC deals, guiding clients from due diligence and structuring through closing and post-closing matters. She also counsels public companies on SEC reporting and disclosure obligations, Exchange Act compliance, and the preparation of Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K.

Prior to joining the Firm, Norly practiced at several nationally recognized law firms. She earned her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a Certificate in Management from The Wharton School.

Kari Parks is a trial, appellate, and mediation lawyer specializing in white collar criminal defense and complex commercial disputes, including securities litigation, business divorce, and shareholder rights matters. A graduate of Northwestern University School of Law, Kari was previously Head of Litigation at a Wall Street securities boutique and began her career at Linklaters. She joined the Firm in June of 2026.

With the addition of Norly, CFDB’s New York office continues to deepen its bench across corporate, transactional, and litigation disciplines, underscoring the Firm’s commitment to delivering premier, full-service legal counsel.
