ALEX STERN
Law Clerk
Alex is a Law Clerk at CROKE FAIRCHILD DUARTE & BERES where she assists attorneys on a variety of legal issues including research, motion drafting, and logistical matters.
Alex will receive her J.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law in May of 2024. While pursuing her J.D., Alex has served as a research assistant for Professor Claire Raba, and she clerked with a Chicago personal injury firm. As a law clerk she drafted motions and petitions, researched and drafted memoranda, and participated in client consultations. Alex holds various leadership positions; she is currently the President of the UIC School of Law Decalogue Society and has served as Team Captain for a dispute resolution competition.
