BINDOO K. RIZZO
Of Counsel

Bindoo K. Rizzo is both a skilled corporate attorney and engineer with real-world business experience. She started her legal career at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where she spent five years representing private equity, secured lending, and pro bono clients.

Bindoo left Kirkland to go in-house at Tenneco, one of the world’s leading designers, manufacturers, and marketers of Ride Performance and Clean Air products and technology solutions for diversified markets, including light vehicle, commercial truck, off-highway equipment, and the aftermarket.  There, she partnered with the executives and collaborated with cross-functional business unit heads to provide both strategic legal counsel and business advice.  She was lead attorney on all trademark–related matters, negotiated and drafted a wide array of complex documents, performed risk assessments of compliance practices and implemented various compliance programs.

Prior to attending law school, Bindoo was a project engineer at 360 Communications (a spin-off of Sprint) and project manager at Motorola in the CDMA group.  True to her entrepreneurial spirit, she subsequently left corporate America and started a company with her husband designing and installing in-building wireless systems for the various telecom carriers. They grew the company into a national leader in the DAS industry and, after building it for fifteen years, they sold it in 2014.
