Croke Fairchild Duarte & Beres announced today its client, Chicago-based software startup LogicGate, has secured a Series C funding round totaling $113 million. Patrick Croke, Andy Gilbert, and Phil Acevedo led the Croke Fairchild team, which served as lead counsel for LogicGate through the successful round.

LogicGate is a leading provider of risk and compliance solutions, deploying flexible, easy-to-use enterprise technology to assess, monitor, implement, and evolve governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) programs. Its proprietary software, LogicGate Risk Cloud™, features a suite of flexible, functional applications that enable business leaders to take control of risk and compliance functions in-house. The new funds will be directed to product advancements, partnerships, and security.

Led by CEO Matt Kunkel, LogicGate has grown substantially in recent years, raising $156 million in funding. Leading the Series C were PSG, a Boston-based growth equity firm specializing in technology-enabled solutions, and Green Spring Associates, a venture capital firm that first invested in LogicGate in its Series B.

“It’s such an honor to help structure investments that support innovators and thought leaders who are reshaping the way we do business,” said Patrick Croke, partner at Croke Fairchild Duarte & Beres. “There’s no doubt in my mind that Matt and his team will continue to grow LogicGate into a must-have solution for businesses across multiple industries, and we’re thrilled to support their vision along the way.”
