Croke Fairchild Duarte & Beres is pleased to announce Taryn Strohmeyer has joined the firm as an associate in its transactional practice. Taryn focuses her practice on a broad range of transactional work spanning securities, funds, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters.

Prior to joining Croke Fairchild Duarte & Beres, Taryn was an associate in both the London and New York offices of Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP. In that capacity, she guided clients through complex transactions ranging in size from $350 million to $17.4 billion, advising on disclosures, drafting offering memoranda, purchasing agreements and other ancillary transaction documents, performing due diligence and liaising with clients. In the firm’s London office, Taryn advised underwriters and issuers in high yield debt offerings issued under Reg S and Rule 144A, and she was involved in the biggest sterling corporate bond offering in UK history, which totaled £2.75 billion.

As an associate, Taryn will support clients across the firm’s transactional practice areas with an emphasis on securities, mergers and acquisitions, funds and general corporate matters. She joins a transactional practice that has seen explosive growth, adding 18 attorneys and support staff since the firm’s founding in December 2019.

Taryn holds a J.D. and a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies in Humanities, German Studies from the University of Chicago. She lives in New York City.
