Croke Fairchild Duarte & Beres is pleased to announce that attorneys Jennifer Kalmanides, Brian Prendergast, and Collin Bruck have been elevated to partner, effective January 1, 2024. These talented attorneys are Croke Fairchild’s first internal promotions to partner – a milestone moment in the firm’s four year history.
Jennifer is a member of the firm’s Private Funds & Investment Management group, advising clients on the formation and operation of private investment funds, including private equity, venture capital and hedge funds, and related matters. In addition to her corporate work, Jennifer also represents pro bono clients in a range of matters, including an executive clemency application and applications for resentencing under the Domestic Violence Survivors Justice Act. She also assisted clients in connection with the Promise of Justice Initiative’s non-unanimous juries project.
Brian is a member of the firm’s Litigation & Investigations group, focusing his practice primarily in complex commercial litigation, and handles matters for business entities of all sizes, ranging from large publicly traded companies to closely held or family-owned businesses. An accomplished trial lawyer, Brian has worked on matters in state and federal court at both the trial and appellate levels. He also has experience in court-ordered and private arbitration proceedings, as well as various other methods of alternative dispute resolution.
Collin, also a member of the firm’s Litigation & Investigations group, focuses his practices on complex commercial litigation at both the trial and appellate levels. He has successfully litigated a broad range of commercial disputes in both state and federal court for entities of all types and sizes. Beyond litigation, Collin also advises clients on regulatory and employment matters, and on administrative law, where his efforts have led to the reversal of multiple nine-figure contracts awarded by state agencies.
